Was extremely hesitant about purchasing online - but the money back guarantee and 100 trial was a big clincher. Not to mention the 12 monthly payments! Such an awesome deal. We already had a super supportive/comfy latex mattress, so moving to a foam mattress was, in our eyes, a bit of a risk! After an initial 3-4 days settling in period and now 100+ nights on, this mattress is soooooo good! Just the best thing I've slept in. Ultra comfort. No partner disturbance. The whole thing from service, delivery, online chat line to set up was a breeze. in my opinion, a brilliant mattress!

What's the Sommuto mattress made from?

The Sommuto mattress is an all-foam mattress with Australian made proprietary memory foam technology. The foam is made to keep you cool, and the combination of the 3 layers give a medium feel. We will look at these layers in more detail, starting at the top going down.

Memory foam – This layer allows heat to escape the mattress because of the gel-infused with the foam. Memory foam is known for its deep pressure relief because it doesn’t compress as fast compared to other foams.

High resilience foam – The premium resilience foam is firmer than the memory foam providing extra support while still relieve pressure points. The convoluted surface of the foam increases airflow and moisture away from sleepers for a more refreshing nights sleep.

High-density foam – The high-density foam reduces movement travelling through the mattress at night. The foam cradles the spine and gives the mattress strength and stability.

The cover – Protecting these layers is a breathable Tempright fabric cover. The cover is designed to fit Australia’s challenging climate featuring Thermatex technology that retains excess heat as you sleep and releases it as you cool. Like most covers its got a dual design of white and grey with a diamond pattern on the top. The cover is machine washable and easily removable.

Sommuto Pillow Review – There are plenty of benefits to a memory foam pillow, two of the main ones being health and comfort. Let’s start with health, Sommuto’s pillow is washable so if you suffer from allergies or asthma you can take advantage of being able to wash your pillow for complete hygiene. Plus memory foam is bed bug and dust mite resistant.

It’s comfortable. Memory foam moulds to you, guaranteeing to keep your head and spine aligned no matter what your sleeping position. The micro piercings improve transpiration by drawing body moisture away and transposing it back into the air as vapour, which means you sleep cooler. Much cooler.

And a nice touch is that it’s individually moulded (not glued or carved), so the pillow is odourless, free from CFC/VOC and no toxic nanoparticles such as Graphene.

How much does the Sommuto mattress weigh?

The Sommuto mattress is an all-foam mattress so weighs less than a spring mattress. When in its packaging it’s easy to move around and get up those dreaded stairs. It’s slightly heavier than a traditional foam mattress because of the dense foam used. We have listed the weight and thickness of every Sommuto mattress sizes below.
